Marc Andreessen is one of the most powerful names in venture capital, especially in ultra-liberal Silicon Valley. For decades, Marc had supported Democrat presidential candidates without fail, but it took only one meeting with President Joe Biden for him to realize that had to change.
Andreessen, who co-founded VC firm Andreessen Horowitz, said that an “alarming” meeting with the Biden admin left him no choice but to support President Donald Trump – a decision which sent shockwaves throughout the all-mighty American tech hub.
During an episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast, Andreessen shared the details of this meeting, noting that the government officials shared with him a disturbing plan to control AI which is an exact clone of the way they do things in Communist China.
“They were taking us through their plans, and it was – basically just full government – full government control – like this sort of thing, there will be a small number of large companies that will be completely regulated and controlled by the government, they told us. They said ‘don’t even start startups – there’s just no way that they can succeed – there’s no way that we’re going to permit that to happen,’” Marc said.
This is exactly the way the CCP operates. They let certain companies flourish so long as they operate as a faction of the communist party and then crush any competition that tries to surpass them.
Telling this to a man whose entire business model is investing in startups might not have been the brightest decision by the Biden admin, but then again, they haven’t exactly been known to be the brightest bunch.
Rogan followed up by asking Andreessen, “When you leave a meeting like that, what do you do?”
Andreessen responded: “You endorse Donald Trump.”

Biden's administration laid it all out:
Only 2-3 AI companies would be allowed to exist.

In the full episode Marc exposes many of the government’s secrets which he’s been privy to over the years. It’s more than 3 hours long but very much worth the watch. Here’s the link to that.
