Joe Biden wants the American people on the left to believe he is “woke enough” to continue leading the Democratic party, and to do that, he’s willing to make up stories about how he’s always been a gay ally – but his voting record exposes him as a FRAUD!
Biden was asked about his views on same-sex marriage and how the federal government could protect LGBTQ Americans, when he delivered a hilarious and easily debunked response.
The 80-year-old president claimed he had an “epiphany” way back in high school which led him to support gay marriage from then on.
“I can remember exactly where my epiphany was” Biden said before telling a CLEARLY MADE UP story about his father dropping him off when he was a high school senior.
“I remember about to get out of the car and I look to my right and two well-dressed men in suits kissed each other. ?… And I’ll never forget it, I turned and looked at my dad and he said, ‘Joey, it’s simple. They love each other?,’?” Biden apparently recalled.
“?I?t’s just that simple, it doesn’t matter whether it’s same-sex or a heterosexual couple, you should be able to be married,” he continued. “So what is the problem??” ??
However, his voting record as a senator and even remarks made over the following decades suggest he most definitely had a problem with gay marriage.
?In 1996, Biden voted in favor of the Defense of Marriage Act, which declared that states WERE NOT required to recognize same-sex marriages performed in another state and defined marriage as being between a MAN and a WOMAN. ?
Just two years prior to that, Biden backed a measure proposed by Republican Sens. Robert Smith which aimed to cut federal funds to schools that taught acceptance of homosexuality.
In 1973, 12 years after graduating from high school and supposedly having this “epiphany,” Biden suggested that gays working for the federal government would be a “security risk.”
