There’s a misconception surrounding modern politics that needs to be put to rest. A strong core of Never-Trumpers pushed this notion that Donald Trump isn’t a real Republican. They made it seem like he was some whacky radical, and they suggested that his policies could never do any good.
Now that we have three years of a Trump Presidency to review, the lie of the Never-Trumpers is clear. He has governed more true to the core Republican principles than W. Bush ever did.
In fact, Donald Trump is essentially a Reagan 2.0. He’s traditionally conservative, and with his conservative policy, he has led America to new levels of prosperity.
This is a more important point than you might think. Republicans basically lost ground across the country over the last 20+ years. We can now safely say that the problem was faux Republicans who got away from the core values.
Under the leadership of President Trump, the restoration of those values is flipping districts from blue to red, and it’s the first time the trend has reversed in years.
