In this hyper-partisan era that we’re living in, it’s incredibly refreshing to see a Democrat who is actually willing to set aside their dislike for the other side, especially when it comes to President-Elect Donald Trump, in order to do what’s best for America.
Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has cemented himself as one of the few Democrats who is actually willing to do this and it seems like every time he opens his mouth these days, he exposes what a complete JOKE the vast majority of the modern, Trump-hating Democratic Party is.
During a recent appearance on Fox News, he did exactly that when he was forced to remind his fellow leftists what “democracy” is really about.
Fetterman revealed that he has held meetings with several of Trump’s cabinet picks and has already decided that he intends to vote to confirm them.
Naturally, this goes against the Democrats’ main goal of spending every waking moment of their existence trying to stop Trump from saving America so they’re not too happy about it.
Fetterman said that he caught flak from fellow Dems for even daring to meet with Trump’s picks, because again, that goes against their unspoken code of doing whatever they can to derail Trump’s presidency.
“That’s the way democracy works,” Fetterman reminded his out of touch colleagues. “You don’t have to agree with all of them. But I want to find a way to work together.”
If more Democrats shock us and start actually doing their jobs like this, then Trump’s second term could be the most effective we’ve seen in a LONG time.
