Say What?! Planned Parenthood Claims Abortions are “Essential” Business During Pandemic

If we’re going to be dealing with coronavirus anyway, we might as well enjoy the memes and humor around it. What’s your favorite “essential employee” joke?

Sometimes, it’s humor — even in the toughest of times — that helps us pull through. So, go on, and keep making your Covid-19 jokes. They’re keeping all of us sane.

Unfortunately, not everything is a joke. When you read Planned Parenthood’s claims that abortion services have to be kept open because they’re essential during a pandemic, you might be tempted to think that they’re just getting in on the fun. They aren’t. Nothing about Planned Parenthood has ever even flirted with being fun.

No, these baby murderers are trying to make the case that vulnerable pregnant women should have an elected procedure because babies are inconvenient. That’s their whole argument; it’s all they’ve got.

You know what nonessential “elective procedures” hospitals have stopped performing? Knee replacements…mammograms…hernia surgery… tonsillectomies…kidney stone removal…cataract surgery…cancer removal. Planned Parenthood says abortions are more important than all of those procedures and must be allowed to still take place during a pandemic.

This video takes an evil, insane premise, and it sets the idea completely on fire. From the first line, you’ll feel the intensity of how wrong it is to divert precious resources to Planned Parenthood. It’s always wrong, but it’s especially bad at a time when healthcare infrastructure is being pushed to the breaking point.

It’s ok to laugh at memes, and it’s ok to be furious when you watch this video. It’s also ok to channel that rage into productive action. It’s long past time we demanded that Congress completely stopped taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood forever.
