Russia Retaliates against the U.S. for Trump Kicking Out Diplomats and Shutting Down Seattle’s Consulate

Donald Trump, who the left still insists is a Russian lackey who is in thrall to Putin, was the first international leader to respond to their gas attack in the UK. He unceremoniously dumped Russian spies from their perches and kicked them out of the U.S. Putin, lacking any creativity in the situation, decided that a tit for tat expulsion was the only retaliation he could muster. Thus, a handful of U.S. diplomats have been ordered to leave the country.

There’s a lot going on here, but there is something important to understand. Russia attacked a NATO ally with a banned nerve agent. This is the first time the chemical weapons convention has been broken by a country that explicitly agreed to its tenants. It is also the first time a NATO ally has been attacked by a banned substance outside of formal war. The international response to kick spies out of their countries is extremely minimal in the face of this atrocity. Saddam Hussein was deposed and executed for similar crimes.

Somehow, liberal media has found a way to mutate Trump and allies’ measured responses to be some form of inciting recklessness. On a dime, they switched from accusing Trump of being in the pocket of Russia and perpetually soft in dealing with the federation to blaming him for tension escalations. The left is simply out of control.

In this video, you can see Heather Nauert, the State Department’s spokeswoman, deftly handle ridiculous and heinous indications while she clearly explains the situation. It’s truly an exchange to behold.
