As President Trump has noted on multiple occasions, washed-up comedian Bill Maher is a dumb guy. To his credit, though, the HBO talk show host was bright enough to recognize the fact that the “woke” movement was a losing issue for the Democrat Party. What’s that say about the intelligence of the party’s leadership these days?
Kid Rock is a mutual friend of both Trump and Maher, and he arranged for them to have dinner together at the White House on March 31. When Maher announced that he had accepted the invitation, he caught holy hell from the woke mobs on the left.
“How can you have dinner with LITERALLY HITLER?!”
What happened next is something we’ve seen many times in the past. Maher went to dinner with Trump and ended up being incredibly impressed with him.
President Trump is warm, kind, generous, funny, and an all-around good guy. Bill Maher, who fully bought into the Russia collusion hoax eight years ago, was surprised and impressed.
“He laughs,” notes Maher. “I’d never seen him laugh in public, but he does, including at himself.”
Well, yeah. Maybe Maher should have gone to one of the gazillion campaign rallies Trump has done instead of making up his mind about the guy based on the fever dreams of MSNBC.
