RFK Moves to Ban Cell Phones in Schools

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., wants all states to adopt legislation that removes cell phones from schools. Phones in classrooms have been proven to cause cognitive gaps, lack of socialization, and increased suicidal ideation in kids.

Many people don’t realize it, but 19 states have already banned cell phones in schools because of the risks they pose to students. Many foreign countries have also banned cell phones in their schools, but you never hear about that in the US for some reason.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin of Virginia recently signed an executive order to get phones out of schools. School districts in Virginia that have adopted this policy are already achieving higher test scores than the national average.

Kids are more attentive in school when they’re not on their cell phones all the time, they have more friends, and they’re better at doing their homework.

There would be no downside to this policy. Cell phones also have a known risk of causing cancers when they’re carried around in a person’s pocket all day. Even the iPhone’s fine print warns owners that they should use the hands-free option. If you hold the phone up to your head, it can increase the risk of developing cancer.

Comedian Jimmy Dore walks us through RFK, Jr.’s plan to ban cell phones in schools and explains the health risks to kids in this video…
