Revival at Small University Chapel has been Going on 24 Hours a Day for Nearly Two Weeks Now

While there is certainly plenty of darkness going on in the world, there are still bright spots to help you keep the faith like what’s going on at this Christian university in Kentucky which people are describing as “a spiritual revival.”

Students at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, have been engaging in a continuous chapel for almost two weeks straight now!

The prayer has been running 24/7 and people from all over the world have come out to partake in this small town religious gathering.

According to Alison Perfater, Asbury’s student body president, the worship even has no planned speakers and did NO marketing to draw the crowd. People having been flocking to the university in what she says can only be described as “supernatural.”

Perfater says that after all the division that has taken place in recent years, people are “hungry and desperate for God.”

The gathering is serving as proof that people are longing for religion in their lives as the spiritual battle between good and evil rages on in our world.

“It’s praise and worship, honestly. Nobody’s snake-handling. It’s just praise and worship that’s going around 24/7,” Jim Shores, a professor at the school said.

Shores added that people from all over the world are coming to experience the incredible religious movement.

He said some are coming simply because they are curious, but many have come searching for hope and connection.

“We would say there is just a spirit of the Lord in this place, really [burrowed] its way into the hearts and minds of our students, staff, faculty and our community,” Asbury president Kevin Brown said.
