Researchers say Memes are Making Teenagers Fat

Are you up to date with the latest craze in moral panicking? Well git on board, soccer moms, the overbearing freak out is just starting!

Do you know there was a Jazz panic in the 1930s? That was America’s jump start into moral panics and meltdowns. We’ve come a long way since then. Soon after that, we had the rip-roaring reefer madness panic. Boy oh boy, was it a kick to imagine hopped up Jazz-vibing rapists around every corner!

Then it was the demonic rhythms of rock and roll music in the 1950s. Don’t you remember the aggressively sexual way paranoid preachers would describe the thrusting repetitive beat?

The beat. The Beat! THE BEAT!!

Then the Beatles hit the scene, and we just knew we lost our children forever.

But that’s when the fun really got started because LSD was being pushed into the streets by the CIA and young people were learning to fly. Our city sidewalks were covered in leather-clad grease spots- at least if you believed the hype.

Soon after that, the media said we were experiencing the beginning of the Satanic panic which destroyed as many families as it entertained and made playing Dungeons & Dragons so much more fun. After that, we had the video game panic. That fizzled after we found out it actually curbs street crime.

But there’s more fun to be had because today we have the great meme panic. Memes are turning kids into Nazis and making them fat.

Stop laughing this is serious!

Here’s Mark Dice with more on this new exciting moral panic.
