In an effort to try and win back some of the minority support that they’ve been hemorrhaging, the Biden campaign and the entire Democrat establishment have resorted to, once again, smearing Trump as a racist – but Republican Rep. Byron Donalds just completely dismantled their narrative in two minutes!
Donalds was speaking with one of the propagandists over at CNN, Abby Phillip, who suggested that voters should doubt Trump’s character over what she claimed were “racist” things he said or did in the past, which as you might expect, are all lies.
Phillip asked Donalds what voters should think in regards to a 1973 federal lawsuit against Trump filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) which claimed that he was refusing to rent to black people. Trump was ultimately CLEARED of any wrongdoing in the matter but still the Democrats cling on to this to paint a false narrative.
Speaking of false narratives, Phillip also peddled the same old lie that Trump “didn’t denounce White supremacists in Charlottesville” – which has been proven to be completely dishonest time and time again.
Refusing to tolerate these leftist lies, Rep. Donalds fired back in a big way and you can tell Phillip was NOT expecting it.
“Now Abby, we gotta be truthful… He denounced all of the white supremacy that was going on in Charlottesville. I‘ve reviewed that tape. I know you and your producers have reviewed that tape multiple times. Let‘s not take one statement out of context. Let‘s be factual now.”
He then pivoted and took the conversation to a place that REALLY flustered the left-wing pundit – Joe Biden’s own history of racism.
“Well can also talk about Joe Biden‘s record…” Donalds responded.
Phillip quickly interrupted in an effort to stop Donalds from going there, but it was too late.
“Hold on now, Joe Biden issued the 94? crime bill. It was devastating to black voters, you know this… Joe Biden did that. Joe Biden didn’t want his own kids to be bused to schools. Joe Biden did that. That was his record as well.”
After reminding her and all of CNN’s viewers (if there are any), Donalds went on to further defend Trump.
“Look at his record as president of the United States. His record as president is one that actually wanted all Americans to thrive and succeed. He did not pick and choose when he was president,” Donalds stated.
The Democrats can try this same old B.S. all they want – but the American people are not falling for it this time.
