Record Surge in Migrant Families Pushes U.S. to “Breaking Point”

How many times have you heard it said that there is no crisis at the border? Leftists would argue that the sky isn’t blue just to disagree with President Trump. The truth is that every Congress and President since 1980 has agreed that we have an illegal immigration crisis. They all then proceeded to do nothing about it.

The absence of action has come at a price. Illegal immigration is causing more problems than ever before, and it grows more serious by the day. Anyone who tries to tell you that there is no crisis is either willfully ignorant or just plain lying.

A few statistics can help prove this point. Arrests at the border rose across 2018. This year is already on track for a new all-time record. In fact, it’s on track to double what we saw last year. As Border Patrol says it, it is both a border security and humanitarian crisis. There’s no other way to describe it.

When you watch this video, try to remember one important thing: Democrats voted against any additional funding for Border Patrol. They didn’t just fight against walls (that would clearly reduce the problem). They also denied money for housing, services, case workers and the many other resources necessary to process immigrants, legal or not. Remember that when you look at how large the “non-crisis” is today.
