Conservative historian Larry Schweikert has a new book out titled, “Reagan: The American President.” Put it on your To-Read list if you’re into biographies that are not written by nutty left-wingers.
Mr. Schweikert has a very interesting theory about the upcoming 2020 election that you probably haven’t heard anywhere else.
In Schweikert’s analysis, it pretty much doesn’t matter who the Democrats nominate in 2020. The Democrat base is so fractured right now that they simply will not be able to coalesce behind a candidate. This all but guarantees a certain outcome in 2020. Interesting thought, no?
For example, current frontrunner Joe Biden — Creepy Sleepy Joe — will be able to pull the votes from the corrupt labor unions, college professors and cat-lady feminists who are still mad that Putin stole 2016 from Hillary
But the rigid, closed-minded, nose-ringed SJWs of the Democrat base who believe there are 37 genders will never support Joe Biden. He’s an evil white male. How could they?
Likewise, if Bernie Sanders or one of the other nuts wins the nomination, the Democrats who are creeped out by socialism but too afraid to say it out loud will never vote for that person. There is no similar ideological battle in the Republican Party right now. We had that fight already and Trump won.
