Rand Paul BLASTS Republicans for Blocking Bill to Defund Planned Parenthood

One of the hot-button political issues heading into the midterm elections will once again be Planned Parenthood.

The publicly-funded abortion clinics across the nation have helped encourage expectant mothers to terminate pregnancies and kill unborn children at historic rates. In fiscal year 2016, a reported 881 babies were killed every day at the hands of Planned Parenthood doctors, or one every 98 seconds at its 600-plus facilities.

Taking taxpayer dollars each year, the organization has also been accused of selling off the remains of murdered babies for profit. Planned Parenthood is responsible for upwards of one-third of all abortions performed in the United States.

On this Next News Network exclusive, host Gary Franchi calls out the latest acts of political cowardice in Washington, D.C. It appears fellow Republicans are apparently blocking a bill proposed by Sen. Rand Paul to defund the death clinics once and for all.

Sen. Paul, well known for his hard-hitting and fact-based criticisms of big government and excessive spending, targets GOP members in a speech from the Senate floor. Sen. Paul demands answers to why his own party would ignore the fact the taxpayers are subsidizing abortions to the tune of $400 million each year. The Kentucky Senator more than amply answers those questions for everyday Americans fed up with deficit spending and legalized murder.
