In March of 2021, Rachel Maddow aired a segment about the COVID vaccines that was chock full of misinformation and outright deceptions, as the MSNBC host alleged that vaccines prevented both infection and transmission — statements that did not reflect the science at the time nor have they been borne out by subsequent research.
Yet the segment remains viewable on YouTube, Twitter and other social media platforms and Maddow faces zero consequences for perpetuating these blatant COVID lies.
For example, Maddow tells viewers that the vaccine prevents the virus from being transmitted from vaccinated person to vaccinated person, something the data has NEVER shown to be true. Not last year, not this year, or ever. Many examples now exist of people who have been vaccinated and who have even received a booster that have tested positive for COVID-19.
False information like this encourages people to hate those who are unvaccinated, treating them like a different class of people based on information that is not even accurate.
Big pharma may one day have to answer for its own role in promoting vaccines to such an extent. But for now, there seems to be no consequences for anyone on the left spreading misinformation about COVID. Instead, it’s repeatedly conservatives or those who question vaccine science who become the censored ones, so you may want to watch this video before it’s too late.
