A new poll shows voters preferences for the Democrat candidates have narrowed significantly. It’s basically down to two candidates: Bernie vs Biden.
This is shocking news for some who thought Elizabeth Warren had a real shot to become the nominee. The mainstream media loved her and perhaps artificially inflated her support. But her numbers continued to drop. This past week saw the biggest drop in support for Warren, making her a distant third or even fourth place choice for voters.
The narrowing race between Biden and Bernie represents a very interesting choice for voters. These two candidates could not be more different, nor could they represent a more divergent path forward for the Democrat Party.
Bernie represents a radical change for voters, while Biden represents more of the same. It’s socialism versus neo-liberalism. Both are incredibly popular with certain groups. Bernie with young voters, Biden with minorities.
Whoever voters chose will signal the future path forward for the Democrat Party.
