If elected, Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris would technically be the first Black woman president and while race-baiting and identity politics may have been enough to get former President Barack Obama elected, it’s not quite working out for the Democrats this time around.
CNN is certainly aware of that and they’re sounding the alarm that Kamala is in BIG trouble.
Obama recently admitted that Black voters were not that excited to vote for Harris and we wasn’t kidding.
Harry Enten, a Senior Data Reporter for CNN was the bearer of bad news when he revealed that Black support for President Donald Trump is the highest of any Republican since 1960!
Enten said that he noticed a trend line amongst Black voters that made him go “whoa.”
He notes that back in 2012 Obama won the support of Black men ages 18-44 by 81%. By the time Joe Biden came around that margin had dropped to just 53% but Kamala Harris is fairing even worse.
Harris only has a 41% lead – HALF of the margin that Obama saw back in 2012.
Enten points out, “This is part of a long-standing trend of young black men moving away from the Democratic Party. Kamala Harris is just the latest to face that magnitude of younger Black men going towards the Republicans.”
Overall, he said that President Trump is slated to have the best Black support of any Republican since 1960.
Watch the video here to see why the Democrats are freaking out as we approach the presidential election!
No matter how you splice the data, Trump seems to be the strongest Republican with Black voters since 1960. Young Black men in particular have trended right during Trump's runs (cutting the Dem margin by 40 pts from 2012).
