Washington, DC, the pinnacle of government elitism and left-wing policies, has been turned into such a complete DUMP that sports teams are running for the hills!
NHL team the Washington Capitals, and NBA team the Washington Wizards are looking to get out of the failing city ASAP.
Ted Leonsis, owner of both teams, has decided to move them to nearby Alexandria, Virginia citing things like the Capitol’s skyrocketing crime rates – a direct result of the Democrat policies driving the city into the ground.
In an apparent effort to try and convince the teams to stay, DC’s joke of a mayor, Democrat Muriel Bowser, completely ignored the crime problem and tried to argue that Virginia traffic should be enough to stop Leonsis from moving the teams – seriously.
Bowser is hoping that if she simply ignores the crime problem that she and her Democrat buddies created that it will go away – but that’s certainly not happening.
Their soft-on-crime policies have encouraged criminals to become repeat offenders with a guarantee that they won’t face any real time behind bars, all in the name of “equity.”
Democrats think it’s “racist” to hold people accountable for their crimes, so instead they let them do whatever they want and it’s led to hellhole city’s like DC all across the country!
