Poll: Most Americans Say Hillary Clinton Guilty in Email Probe

Of course, she’s guilty as sin!

That’s the latest finding of Rasmussen Polling in its survey on whether American voters think former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is culpable in her personal email server scandal that was investigated by the FBI. Specifically, 64 percent of voters believe that Clinton’s conduct was criminal, and 50 percent want all the FBI files on Clinton made public.

However, in a recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) filing, New York attorney Ty Clevinger requested that the files be released, but the FBI refused on the grounds that the request “was not in the public interest,” despite Clinton being a (very) public and well-known figure. A federal judge, James Boasberg, has since disagreed with the FBI and has requested that the Bureau make the documents available.

Viewers may recall that recently uncovered internal FBI emails have shown that former FBI Director James Comey wanted to exonerate Clinton before his agency’s investigation of her was complete and even before interviews of many key witnesses in the case had taken place.

Between the efforts of Comey and former President Obama (who appointed him FBI Director), there was a very strong push by the previous presidential administration to absolve Clinton of guilt while the 2016 Democratic election campaign was ongoing.
