“Pisses Me Off” Weatherman Goes Off on Virginia Governor Northam for Lies

One weatherman went off after Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam after he claimed that the state was surprised by the amount of snow it got earlier this week and that no one was expecting much of storm. The storm led to hundreds of drivers on I-95 being stuck for up to 24 hours in snowy conditions without food, water or enough gas in their tanks to keep their heaters on to keep them warm while they waited for rescue.

The weatherman in the video said it “pisses me off” that weather reporters were being blamed by governor to cover up his office’s lack of preparation. He then talked about the multiple reports he and other weather people had given warning people about the coming snow storm and bad weather conditions days in advance. The snow was a bit higher than predicted, but the warnings were clearly there.

The video questions what happens to all those people? How long until they run out of gas? How many people will abandon their vehicle and walk off? What happens if a person gets too cold and has no way to stay warm?

These and other questions are important ones the state’s governor should have considered. Instead, he was caught falsely blaming weather reports for the damage. At least one weatherman called Northam out on the blame game, leaving some interesting entertainment from an unlikely source.

It’s worth checking out also, as it points out those who report on the weather are people too. They get frustrated with what’s happening in the government and yet are expected to stay silent more than we likely know.
