Pete Buttigieg Disliked More than Hillary, Comedian Nick Di Paolo Weighs in on Democrat Candidates

You might be a fan of President Trump, but in 2016, he was a bit of a wild card. It was hard to predict exactly how he would perform as President, and it’s why a lot of people were hesitant to vote for him. Since taking office, he has surpassed everyone’s expectations, but if we’re all being honest, he owes a lot of his 2016 win to Hillary Clinton. More specifically, he owes it to how overwhelmingly unpopular she was.

It’s with that context that you should consider the following: Pete Buttigieg is more disliked than Hillary Clinton. This is a legitimate top tier candidate for the Democrats right now, and he’s polling well below where she was.

He’s also one of the more moderate candidates on the left. This tells us several important things.

First, the Democrats are in trouble. The candidate most like Hillary is trailing all of her numbers, and she was easily the most popular candidate last time around. In fact, no Democratic candidate is matching her support so far. This is comparing their numbers to her 2015 numbers, by the way.

The second thing is that the core Democratic base is completely off their rockers. As bad as Buttigieg is, it’s completely insane that he would be less popular than Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. They’re actual communists.

This whole thing is completely crazy, so why not let a comedian (a pro-Trump one to boot) weigh in on the race. Sometimes you have to laugh to stay sane.
