People on the Street: Do People in Washington D.C. Respect the American Flag?

The Daily Caller asked people in Washington, D.C., if they would fly the American flag outside their homes. You won’t believe some of the answers.

The first respondent said, “I wouldn’t fly it at all.”

Another said that looking at the flag now and the National Anthem is “super racist.”

Still another labeled the flag, “An unnecessary sense of nationalism.”

One person even suggested we modify the flag and update it to represent different groups of people in our nation today.

This is the growing animosity toward the American flag from a number of young Americans in our country. In this case, the video took place in our nation’s capital.

Some might say, “Well, that’s not how we see it where I live.” Even so, these are the people in the city where decisions are made that influence the country.

But all was not bad. One young woman called the flag “a symbol of strength for our country.”

Another said, “It means unity and freedom. I like having the freedom of speech as well.”

There is hope, but it’s becoming more difficult to find. What do you think after watching the video? Check it out and remind yourself why we fly the red, white and blue still today.

  1. I think that most of these idiots that were asked this question couldn’t pull down their pants and tell you what gender they are, let alone show any patriotism toward the flag that so many real men and women have fought and died to protect. God Bless America and God Bless Old Glory!!

    1. & GOD BLESS YOU! Most all the men in my family were in the service. NAVY, ARMY, (PARATROOPER), AIR FORCE, it goes WAYYY back.

  2. Goes back l think to the major indoctrination in our schools! Schools have to go back to teaching what is in history books, etc.. the real history books not “woke ideology”. Math seems to be an issue nationwide..devote the time to teaching our students what will help them in life instead of hating!

  3. Low Life Scumbags, sucking off the welfare teet their entire useless/worthless lives. Their opinions are as worthless as they are. These excrements are free to leave the USA any time & should, but they cant break the multi generation, deep rooted, unbreakable habit of suckling on the welfare teet, and no other country would allow it. So they will continue to be waste of skin excrement, pimples on the ass of society.
