Outrage in Small Georgia Town as Mom is Arrested for Shocking Reason

Residents in the small town of Mineral Bluff, Georgia (population 370) are shocked after a local mother was arrested a few days ago. Brittany Patterson was handcuffed in front of three of her four children and hauled off to jail. She was fingerprinted, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, and thrown in a jail cell. She now faces a year in prison for the “crime” that she’s accused of committing.

So, what exactly did Brittany do? Her 11-year-old son took an unsupervised walk from their 16-acre property to the town of Mineral Bluff, which is less than a mile away.

Brittany had taken her other son to a doctor’s appointment and the younger boy had wanted to come along with them. They left without him, so he decided to walk into town along the familiar county road, where the speed limit is 25 miles per hour.

Some goody-two-shoes Karen saw the boy walking alone and called the police. This is a county where there is almost zero crime. The odds of an 11-year-old boy being kidnapped are statistically near zero, whether they are in a rural or urban area in America.

Brittany Patterson is facing a year in prison because her son went for a walk in a rural community. That’s why locals are so outraged. Matt Walsh has all the details on this story…
