From the moment Democrat nominee Kamala Harris picked Minnesota governor Tim Walz as her running mate he’s been a thorn in the side of her already struggling campaign – and this latest slip-up out of him is no exception.
While delivering a campaign speech in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Walz had a Freudian slip that reminded everyone of how Kamala Harris REALLY got her start in politics.
Walz said that Harris had begun her career as a “young prostitutor” and while he meant to say “young prosecutor” his little slip-up was actually not far from the truth.
It’s been widely alleged that Harris’ political career was jumpstarted by an affair with the well-connected former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.
Thanks to her…intimate… relationship with the influential mayor, Harris rose through the ranks as a prosecutor unusually quickly.
Browns influence ultimately got Kamala elected as the District Attorney of San Francisco and then Attorney General of California before she eventually became a senator.
Democrats want people to forget all about Kamala’s origin story in order to make it seem as though she’s a legitimately qualified candidate but clearly if even her own VP pick is having trouble looking past it then it’s not working!
