Over the past few weeks, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has turned into the face of the new Democratic party…and that’s not a good thing.
It seems like every day Crockett finds a new way to embarrass herself and the party as a whole, and she certainly did not disappoint in this case!
The liberal congresswoman was speaking during a House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight meeting earlier this week and for some strange reason she felt the need to reveal something rather damning about her career.
Crockett was yapping away about how her career began, when she thought it would be a good idea to brag about the fact that she only got hired because she’s black.
“When I first became a public defender, I had no criminal defense experience.” Crockett said.
She continued, “I walked in, and I told my boss, Charlie, I said, ‘Listen, you should hire me.’ He said, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘Because I’m black.’
Crockett went on to describe how she further sold herself as being deserving of the job just because she’s black and would have more “rapport and understanding” with black clients.
Yikes.
Crockett is the definition of a DEI hire gone wrong. At least that explains her behavior!
