Oops! Old Video of Joe Biden Emerges of Him Bragging about Voting for a Border Fence to Keep Out Illegals

Former Vice President Joe Biden probably hopes no one remembers or cares about 2006. That’s because a video of him talking to a group of voters –when he was then Senator Biden—has resurfaced and oh boy does it hurt his credibility and reputation as a liberal!

The most fascinating part of the video is not what Biden does, but what he says. The video makes it clear that the 2006 version of Biden wanted a border wall and to stop illegal immigration by punishing employers who knowingly hired illegals. Sounds a lot like President Trump’s policies doesn’t it!

Biden can be heard telling voters at a South Carolina Rotary Club meeting that he voted for a border fence even though many of his fellow Democrats opposed it. He can be heard saying in the video, “Folks, I voted for a fence. I voted, and unlike most Democrats –and some of you won’t like it, I voted for 700 miles of fence.”

That’s very different than what 2020 Biden is saying. This year’s version of Biden doesn’t want to build any more fence, in fact he wants to knock down any fence that President Trump builds. AND 2020 Biden would never punish any employer that hired an illegal alien. In fact he’d probably praise them!

The bill Biden voted for in early the 2000’s included the signatures of quite a few other Democrats who now vilify President Trump for favoring the same thing. A partial list of Democrats who voted YES to build a fence and punish employers who hired illegals includes:

  • Hillary Clinton of New York
  • Dianne Feinstein of California
  • Bill Nelson of Florida
  • Chuck Schumer of New York, and
  • Barack Obama of Illinois

Watch the video and see Joe Biden say these words for yourself. You’ll see a very different Joe Biden than the one who is running for president today.
