It’s crazy to me to think that liberals are STILL insisting that we need to “trust the experts” and blindly believe that the “government knows what’s best” after everything we’ve been through over the past several years – but here we are!
Podcaster Joe Rogan recently hosted a debate between Douglas Murray, a left-wing British political commentator and Dave Smith, an American libertarian and the debate got heated when Murray made the case that it was a bad idea to question the government.
The conversation starts out with Smith pointing out that American taxpayers have been forced to fund endless wars for the past 25 years based on lies the government has fed us.
Smith makes the point that this opens up the door for people to question more things that the government may have been lying about.
Murray, then goes on to imply that it’s “dangerous” to fuel this kind of skepticism towards the government. He then makes the bizarre point that it’s “weird” to go back and focus on mistakes made.
The British pundit goes on to argue that regular citizens shouldn’t question history, but rather we should just believe whatever official narrative we’re fed as the truth.
This is just such a weird point for Murray to make, but at least now it makes sense why Britain is in the sad state that it is if they have people thinking like this…
