Olympic Gold Medalist Disrespects National Anthem by Kneeling

You might have missed it, but Hong Kong protesters have been making headlines this summer. They’ve been fighting hard for their independence from the dictatorship of communist China. More recently, in a display of hope for freedom and liberty, a huge group of protesters waved American flags and sang our national anthem. It was truly inspiring.

Meanwhile, Americans have no concept of the liberty they enjoy. Privileged athletes continue to kneel for the national anthem — usually with no idea as to what that really means.

Most recently, a gold-medalist fencer kneeled during the ceremony for the Pan American Games. He claimed he did it because he can’t forgive our country for the racism, gun control and mistreatment of immigrants.

He, like the athletes before him, is completely ignorant. Colin Kaepernick started this whole thing, and he did it because he can’t do math. He knelt in support of Black Lives Matter which is built on statistical lies. Police in this country are not systemically racist. All studies of police shootings point to the contrary.

In fact, the United States is the least racist country on the planet. We take in more refugees than any two countries, and our free society is among the safest in the world. In every way, we’re lucky to be able to call this country home. Anyone who argues with that has to do so under false pretenses.

It’s all ridiculous, but we can’t ignore it. Watch the video and see why privileged athletes shouldn’t be thought leaders. They tend to make bad decisions, just like what you’ll see in the video.
