2019 is officially upon us. New years tends to bring a lot of hope and excitement. Usually, by January 4th, they also bring the harsh reality that change is hard. That’s not something that only affects individuals. It’s hard for a country or a political party to change too. That brings us back to the new year. With it comes a big change in Congress, but that won’t necessarily bring us a shiny, new country.
That can never be more obvious that with the new Democratic platform. One of their chief goals is to go after guns. They’ve been at it for decades, so why stop now? In that long crusade, they’ve been shown repeatedly that Americans like their guns and don’t want to be disarmed. So, they lie about guns. They lie as often and as loudly as they can, and they have a large group of Americans convinced that guns are the source of all evil.
It’s the dishonesty that we have to fight. The liberals say that only getting rid of guns can stop violence. Anyone with half a brain knows better. The best defense is a good offense. You can see that in this video. The left will control the narrative and try to tell you that mass shootings are on the rise and that the streets are burning. In reality, 2018 saw more civilians stop crimes than any previous year. Empowered Americans are making a difference.
