NYC Passes Socialist Law to Give Rights to Illegal Aliens, Tourists

New York City politicians are at odds over new legislation that makes illegal aliens a protected class and gives them more rights than U.S. citizens.

In a Fox News debate between New York City councilmen Joe Borelli (R) and Keith Powers (D) the legislation takes an extremist tilt that goes as far as changing the New York State constitution to give illegals preferential treatment. The Democrats are pushing for businesses and even taxpayer funded institutions such as local police departments to be forced to hire illegal immigrants for law enforcement positions.

Republican councilman Borelli is outraged by the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment” that has taxpayers footing the bill for illegal immigrants’ college tuition, room and board. So outlandish is the liberal-leaning amendment that it would extend citizenship rights to criminals hiding in the United States and even the causal 50 million NYC tourists each year.

The enthusiastic, left-leaning NYC Democrat Keith Powers apparently has embraced the resist-Trump radicals to create this legislation. The bill flies in the face of U.S. citizens by giving rights and benefits to people who flaunt the citizenship process.
