The Democrats have really been pushing the “both sides” nonsense ever since they viciously murdered Charlie Kirk. We tried to find a video of any prominent Republican inciting GOP voters to kill Democrats. There must be a lot of those, since it’s a “both sides” issue, right? Well, we failed.
The closest we could find to any Republican using murderous eliminationist rhetoric against Democrats was the story about Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) from 2021. Someone had posted an extremely poorly photoshopped anime video on Twitter. The video had Gosar’s face superimposed on a cartoon Japanese superhero’s body.
“Gosar” flies through the air like Superman and fights a poorly edited version of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) with a sword. The last time we checked, Paul Gosar cannot fly. He retweeted the video, and he did not suggest in any way that Republican voters should attack AOC or any other Democrats.
Gosar was censured by Congress and stripped of his committee assignments in 2021 for “threatening to kill” AOC with a silly cartoon video that he did not create.
Meanwhile, Democrats are constantly inciting their own base to murder Republicans. Many Democrats, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Rep. Al Green, keep stating that they believe Donald Trump will be murdered before the end of 2025.
Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears is running for governor this November. Her campaign put this video together, where you can clearly see that this is not a “both sides” issue:
