Nikki Haley – the First Woman President?

Military analyst Ralph Peters recently told FOX News that U.N. Ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley “may end up our first female president.”

Peters commended Haley for taking a tough stance in calling out the members of the United Nations who voted overwhelmingly to condemn the U.S. for moving our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

Some of the United States’ closest allies voted against the U.S. decision, including the Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany and other allies like Australia, Mexico, and Canada abstained.

Watch the video as Peters gives Nikki Haley flying colors for her tough stance.

Haley announced Sunday that the United States has negotiated a $285 million cut in the United Nations’ “bloated” budget for next year. She said in a statement from the US Mission:

The inefficiency and overspending of the United Nations are well known. We will no longer let the generosity of the American people be taken advantage of or remain unchecked.

Peters noted that Haley’s strong stand is the one needed in our dealings with the U.N. even if she might have chosen a different way to fight. Haley showed that toughness Peters spoke of when she told reporters:

The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out in this assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation.
