The governor of the state of New York and her Democrat legislators have passed nine additional gun control provisions in a state that has plenty of restrictions. They have raised the age to purchase long guns to 21. So, if you’re 18 and you want to go hunting with your Dad you’re out of luck.
Then, in another astonishingly counterintuitive measure, a New York senate bill prevents citizens from purchasing—wait for it—body armor and bullet-proof vests. New York residents may be wondering how they can safely ride the subways now.
And here’s the kicker: one senate bill changes the definition of a firearm to include, “any other weapon that is not otherwise defined containing any component that provides housing or a structure designed to hold or integrate any fire control component that is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by action of explosive.”
New York is also enacting microstamping requirements so that bullets can be traced to the gun. So, forget about ballistic tests and goodbye, cheap ammunition.
In the left’s frenzy to pass new gun laws, they may be overlooking an unintended outcome. Additional restrictions on the Second Amendment will require enforcement. Enforcement requires police, prosecution and jail time for violators.
As the poor, people of color, and other minorities are affected by additional gun laws, will we hear liberal claims that those laws are racist? Who wanted those laws in the first place?

NY & CA. are cesspools full of Liberal P.O.S.’s. Not surprising that their Gestapo officials are passing unconstitutional laws that will eventually be thrown out. The scumbags should focus on illegals & the fentanyl they bring in that has killed more people in one year than 100 years of death by firearms. Or the rampant assaults on Asians by BLACKS. Unfortunately, there is a far simpler way to deal with these alleged gun issues, but our society and governing agencies refuse to consider it because of political ramifications. What if we actually had laws that specified a minimum, rather than maximum only, prison term for using an illegal handgun in any crime? If a perpetrator gets caught and faces a minimum mandatory term of 25 years with no chance of parole, there would be a very good chance that fewer criminals will carry guns. We would have to release a lot of non-violent prisoners from our prisons to make room, but that is still better than putting violent people back on the streets.

Allow Citizen Carry… ANY shooting in self defense or defense of others OR to STOP A CRIME IN PROGRESS is ruled a “good shoot”, ANYONE using a firearm in the commission of a crime gets a minimum of 25 years on a Prison WORK FARM, No FREE RIDE INSIDE.
