Gordon Sondland served as the EU Ambassador under President Donald Trump before turning on Trump by testifying against him to get him impeached and being rewarded with a cushy book deal that doubled as a bribe in exchange for him for turning into a never-Trumper.
Sondland’s 2019 testimony against Trump singlehandedly helped the Democrats to impeach Trump over his infamous Ukraine phone call where leftists claimed that he was trying to engage in a “quid pro quo” with Ukraine to get them to investigate Hunter Biden.
Then after the January 6, 2021 protest which was framed as some kind of violent Trump-led insurrection, Sondland stated that he would NOT be backing Trump in another presidential bid.
However, 3.5 years of living under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ reign seems to have brought about a change of heart for him and MSNBC found out about it at the worst time possible!
The left-wing network put together a panel of former Trump administration officials in an attempt to make it seem like his own people had turned against him.
This panel consisted of Sondland, another anti-Trumper in former Trump Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Matthews, and former Trump economic advisor Peter Navarro – who remains loyal to Trump even after the Biden-Harris DOJ arrested him for just that.
MSNBC had hoped that Sondland and Matthews would team up against Navarro to convince people to vote against him in the 2024 race… but it didn’t go according to plan.
The show’s host, asked Sondland, “Why was it important for you to say ‘no more Trump’ because of his January 6th conduct and do you stand by that?”
Sondland responded by saying, “No, I don’t stand by that,” which shocked the MSNBC host because as we know, leftists aren’t exactly used to people going off script.
“I’ll tell you why,” Sondland continued, “I’ve now lived four years under the Biden-Harris policies and I have to say that those policies are not only becoming an existential threat to our country’s way of life, but to our allies’ as well.”
