The origins of the “Let’s Go Brandon” memes you’ve seen been seeing everywhere this week have been exposed. At a NASCAR race last week the driver who won the race, Brandon Brown, was interviewed by an NBC reporter about his win. During the interview the crowd can clearly be heard chanting “F#%k Joe Biden,” but the NBC reporter tries to cover it up by insisting to Brown that the crowd was cheering “Let’s Go Brandon!”
The video has since sparked endless memes poking fun at President Biden with “Let’s Go Brandon!” chants as a new, under the radar way for people to voice their displeasure with the President without having to swear in public. Pretty funny if you ask me.
Joe Biden has seen his approval rating sink to a new historic low, 43% to be exact, with 55% of Americans reporting they disapprove of the way Joe Biden is handling the country. The reporters doing commentary in this video, Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball of Breaking Points podcast, rightly point out that chants like this are growing in number because Americans genuinely do not like Biden anymore. There are endless reasons why too, whether it be his botched Afghanistan withdrawal that got 13 service men and women killed, or his vaccine mandate after assuring voters he wouldn’t ever do it, or that inflation has crippled most American families with rising prices of everyday goods and services.
Ever since this incident has happened the debate has raged on whether or not the leftist reporter was intentionally trying to cover for the President or did she make a mistake. The chant seems pretty obvious to me, but you should watch the video and decide for yourself.
