MTV Tells White Guys to ‘Do Better’ in 2017

While there is no real “politically correct” way to say it, being white and male in this country has become the new thing to hate on. White males have been demonized in the entertainment industry and, often times, middle class white males are simply not allowed to have an opinion about something.

It is perceived that middle class white males receive all of the advantages and, due to this, are not allowed to voice their opinions. If they do, they are racist or don’t understand the situation or really any variety of terms. This is especially the case in a recent MTV “anti-white guy” video.

Essentially, the video suggests that unless you were a white guy, you never had it good. You’re looked down as a second class citizen or simply just forsaken by society in general.

I guess they forgot that the vast majority of entertainers, musicians and sports industries are dominated by African Americans? But you can’t say that, because you’ll be told that’s simply because they are talented.

And Steve Jobs wasn’t? Warren Buffett isn’t intelligent? And this doesn’t even look at the fact that there has been an African American President for the last eight years.

This is just the tip of the ice burg. Categorizing every single white male to ever be in the United States in one group in itself is generalizing and itself is racist. There are plenty of white guys out there who have never had any luck, have been discriminated against and have run into other problems.
