MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski’s Freudian Slip

Talk about 1984 all over again! MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski (daughter of Democratic former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski) made a huge Freudian slip the other day when she let it slip that she believes it’s the media’s job “to control what people think.”

Say what???

Of course, the context of Brzezinski’s comment is also important, but unfortunately, it seems these words just slipped out of Brzezinski’s mouth before she had time to mentally edit her response to co-host Joe Scarborough.

Whether or not you actually read the book 1984 (if you haven’t, you owe it to yourself to see what the fuss is about), you should know that George Orwell’s prophetic novel envisioned a dark time in the future when the government ruled over society with an iron fist; absolutely no independent thought was allowed.

In this future society, all media was controlled by an elite oligarchy and dictated what people thought and said. Dissent of any kind was prohibited and grounds for “re-education”… does that sound familiar?

Maybe if you live in Communist China — or, if you believe in a globalist vision as touted by CNN, The New York Times, the Washington Post and many other mainstream media outlets! Watch the clip of Brzezinski saying these fateful words — you might not believe your ears.
