GOP Rep. Byron Donald has quickly become one of the most powerful names in the Republican Party, and he’s certainly proven he knows how to handle himself by absolutely annihilating far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid when she tried to back him into a corner.
During a sit down with Reid, the leftist anchor was trying to put words in Donalds’ mouth on a variety of issues related to the new Republican-led congress.
Reid appeared to be determined to talk over the bright young congressman in an effort to paint him in a negative light before her democrat base.
However, Donalds refused to back down and repeatedly buried her with cold hard facts which clearly made the liberal news host very uncomfortable.
Donalds has only been in congress since 2021 but has managed to ascend to the top of the GOP in that short time, putting his name among the select few in consideration for Speaker of the House.
People within the party have referred to him as a “natural born leader” and the future of the GOP.
Democrats like Reid, however, have attempted to diminish his accomplishments with arguments that the GOP is “using him because he’s black,” and arguments which he has easily dismisses as nonsensical.
After delivering a beat down to Reid, Donalds reaffirmed that “he’s not afraid of the tough talk or the battles” adding that having then is “necessary to succeed in the United States.”
Donalds is proving his worth in the Republican Party and if this interview is any indication – he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Reid’s performance earned no kudos for MSNBC. She simply ran her partisan mouth continuously to drown out Donalds’ lucid and educated responses. She actually boasted about the number of Blacks on the blue side of the House. Seems most serious readers would conclude that they contributed to the horrible state of the nation.
Her volume seemed to ratchet up a bit on the subject of entitlements, particularly Social Security. Unfazed by Donalds’ support for government funding but belief in private investment, she continued to blather on with the party propaganda obviously hoping the audience would not hear his position.
Toward the end of this awful demonstration of hosting one of America’s highest leaders, she actually admitted to the democrat strategy. The cornerstone of that strategy is to create a need, pass a law and reward a voter. Doubtlessly, she’ll contribute to MSNBC’s demise, perhaps following CNN to smaller quarters.
Joy Reid is not a journalist and should be removed from that show because she is so obviously racially biased.
We don’t need people like her spuing racist comments and pushing her leftist agenda. UGH!!!

WOW! If she disagrees with you she says “That isn’t true”, which is another way of saying that you are lying and or speaks over the guest and constantly interupts the guest so the opposing thoughts can’t be heard. It is obvious that she has already decided what the answers should be and if you disagree you get disparaged and the guest is called a lier. This a perfect reason why someone like her shold be fired immediately. If she worked at one of my companies she would have been gone a long time ago.
