Mike Huckabee Weighs In on President Trump’s Battle with the Mainstream Media

Mike Huckabee was on Fox & Friends recently where he discussed President Trump’s continuing battle with the mainstream press. In a recent visit with Vladimir Putin, Trump was asked if he believed Putin when he said Russia had no involvement in meddling with elections in the United States. Huckabee shows how the press is determined to twist everything that Trump says to push its progressive agenda in the way his answer was reported.

Huckabee is plain spoken about people from within the Washington establishment who are more than willing to give the media what it wants. One example is Former CIA John Brennan going on CNN and suggesting that Trump is fearful of Putin.

After a successful Far East trip, it seems the press is committed to discrediting Trump’s Presidency anyway it any can. That included finding a still shot that made the President appear to be grimacing and unhappy with shaking hands with foreign leaders. Huckabee pointed out the very real problem that the press doesn’t want Trump to succeed and will do whatever it can to show him a bad light.

After President Trump was received in a very positive light in South Korea and China journalist reported that those country’s leaders treated Trump so well because they didn’t want to bruise his ego.
