If you thought someone listing their preferred pronouns in their email signature was strange, wait until you see the latest leftist innovation from Microsoft.
The opening to a recent event included each participant declaring their identity. One example: “Hello, everyone. I’m a Caucasian man with glasses and a beard. I go by he/him and I’m a security evangelist here at Microsoft.”
Another: “I’m a Caucasian woman with long blond hair and I go by she/her. I’m a product marketing lead here at Microsoft and co-host of the podcast ‘Security Unlocked.’”
Are we really to the point we need to announce our ethnicity, pronouns and even hair color when talking to others?
Microsoft claims it was an attempt to describe those involved for the visually impaired. But the visually impaired number for one don’t know what a red colored shirt looks like, and two don’t really care if the person was him/he or her/she or had a beard or blond hair.
What happened to treating people as, well, people. Do we really need to announce our various traits or do we get to keep at least a little bit of our privacy in America? And when did announcing your ethnicity become important? The left’s obsession with race is crazy.

Ever notice that fads like this appeal to the people who never fit in from Day Care to Kindergarten to college because their behavior wasn’t just different it was abnormal?
