Michelle Obama Blasts Women who Voted for Trump

Here’s the funny thing about identity politics. It always comes back to bite you in the end. Since the left is incapable of thinking of women or other subgroups as individuals, they have to account for the fact that a huge chunk of women voted for Donald Trump. The monolithic treatment of women means that Michelle Obama is just as guilty of electing Trump as Tomi Lahren. To Michelle’s credit, she seemed to catch a glimpse of that reality in her recent address. Throughout the speech, she referred to all women as “we.”

Now, if we want to abandon the ridiculous notion of identity politics and think like rational adults, then we can address Ms. Obama as an individual. And, as an individual, what are her accomplishments? As First Lady, she spearheaded the campaign to end childhood obesity in the U.S. How did that work? Obesity levels rose by about 60 percent across her 8-year crusade. Congratulations Michelle! That makes you about 30 times more successful than your husband on any front.

Despite all of this, Mrs. Obama had the audacity to stand in front of a national audience and criticize the monolith of women in the U.S. for not electing Hillary Clinton. The speech was every bit as asinine as you might expect. Don’t take it on faith. Watch the video and see for yourself.
