Many people have never heard of Dr. Andy Wakefield. If you try to do even basic research on him, you’ll discover that Wakefield seems to be an incredibly terrible person. Here’s what the first sentence of his Wikipedia page says:
“Andrew Jeremy Wakefield… is a British fraudster, anti-vaccine activist, and disgraced former physician.”
Wow! Sounds like a bad guy, doesn’t he?
The Wikipedia article goes on to say that Wakefield caused several measles outbreaks and “many deaths” around the world were his fault. The article doesn’t outright say it, but it makes it sound like Wakefield must have sent plague blankets to indigenous people or something.
What did he actually do?
As millions of parents of autistic children know, Dr. Wakefield published a groundbreaking scientific study in The Lancet in 1998. That study showed a causal link between the MMR vaccine and autism/enterocolitis.
Wakefield’s research was “debunked” by the pharmaceutical companies, he was stripped of his medical license, and his research was effectively memory-holed and censored out of existence.
Despite the fact that Wakefield’s research is known by millions of parents around the world, no mainstream media outlet has ever interviewed him. They’ll interview the former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke. But not Dr. Andy Wakefield. What does that tell you?
It makes you wonder why they’re so scared of this “rogue” physician.
Michael Knowles of The Daily Wire has done what the MSM is afraid to do. He dropped a bombshell interview with Dr. Wakefield this week, and it is well worth your time to watch it:
