President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk have had a bit of a falling out in recent days, and now a bitter Elon Musk is claiming that HE is the only reason Trump won the 2024 presidential contest…
Musk has been publicly trashing President Trump’s “Big Beautiful bill” claiming to be upset over an increase in spending… but it certainly doesn’t help that this bill aims do away with the EV tax credit which has subsidized the growth of companies like Tesla for far too long.
While speaking with reporters in the White House, Trump said that he had a very great relationship with Elon but that “he doesn’t know if he will anymore.”
“I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anybody sitting here,” he said, adding that Musk was mad SOLELY upset because the bill cuts Biden-era electric vehicle mandates.
Not long after those comments did Musk come out and attack Trump some more before effectively claiming all of the credit for Trump’s 2024 election victory.
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” Musk said on X while slamming Trump for “such ingratitude.”
While Musk is right to believe that he played a part in Trump’s victory, he is CERTAINLY not the sole reason that Trump won.
Elon seems to be forgetting that President Trump won in 2016 when Musk was still a Democrat mega-donor…
Musk is acting like a bratty child who is furious that he didn’t get his way… and it’s not a good look.
