Here we go again. Melania Trump decks out the White House for Halloween, and the left finds a way to cry about pumpkins. Yes—pumpkins. We’ve officially reached peak ridiculousness.
The First Lady brought back her signature style to the People’s House this spooky season, and it looks stunning. Pumpkins, fall colors, crisp decor—Melania’s got the White House looking like a Hallmark movie, and folks are loving it. Fox News even covered the festive glow-up, calling it a beautiful kickoff to the holiday season.
But cue the triggered left. Instead of enjoying a harmless Halloween display, Democrats on social media decided to throw a tantrum over—get this—the number of pumpkins. Apparently, using pumpkins for decoration is now a sign of privilege or oppression or whatever the left is offended by this week.
One commenter whined, “Awesome, too bad millions will have no food soon.” Another genius added, “Instead of decorating with food, how about using it to give nutrition to the needy?” And of course, someone had to go full Marie Antoinette with, “Are you going to give out those pumpkins to the people who are about to go hungry from losing their SNAP benefits or you’re going to tell them to go eat cake?”
First of all, who said the pumpkins were being thrown out? No one. Second, if you think a few decorative gourds are the reason people are hungry, you might wanna take a closer look at your party’s policies—just saying.
This is exactly what happens when the left runs out of real problems to scream about. They invent new ones, like “pumpkin privilege.”
But hey, let them moan. The rest of us are going to enjoy the decorations, the holiday, and the fact that the White House feels like home again.
