Barron and Melania Trump can expect some major changes to their lives in the near future. That’s because, at last, they’re both expected to be brand new tenants of the White House, finally joining President Trump as citizens of Washington, D.C. as opposed to remaining residents of the Big Apple (where Barron reportedly had an entire floor of Trump Tower to himself).
Could life at the White House be considered downsizing? Likely not, because in terms of Secret Service protection and a high-profile lifestyle, the comings and goings of the First Family will be much more scrutinized in Washington than they were in New York City.
But the move is good news as far as press coverage of the First Couple goes, because up until now, much of the mainstream media had tried to claim that Melania was intentionally being standoffish from Donald in a “loveless marriage.” A number of media sources even tried to claim that Melania pulled her hand away from Donald when the couple was greeted at the airport in Tel Aviv, Isreal. The fact of the matter, however, is that video of the moment shows something different than what the media is claiming.
Nonetheless, with this announcement, rumors of discord in the Trumps’ marital relationship will likely be put at least partially to rest. More interesting will be to see how Barron adjusts to a new school in Maryland with a whole new set of peers to get used to. Will it be better or worse for the little guy?
