It’s tough to decide how to think about Nicole Shanahan. When she was Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s running mate, she came across as a very cringy, hard-left socialist. Her ex-husband was one of the founders of Google, after all. Now that RFK has dropped out of the race and endorsed President Trump, Shanahan suddenly seems to be “all in” on the MAGA movement and the unity ticket that Trump and RFK have formed.
Shanahan is actually very likable, it turns out. Since RFK dropped out, her team has been producing some of the best campaign ads we’ve seen this year. The ads are smart and creative, and they tug on the heartstrings in the right way.
Quick, what’s the last memorable campaign ad that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz released? Uh… have they even released any ads?
Shanahan’s team dropped a new ad this week that is funny, creative, classy, and most important of all, honest about who the people in the MAGA movement are. It’s sort of like Shanahan has taken on the role of peacekeeper between the MAGA folks and the MAHA (Make American Healthy Again) people supporting RFK since the two sides don’t fully trust each other yet.
We’re honestly surprised that she’s turned out to be so nice to Trump supporters. Most leftists hate us just as much or even more than they hate Trump himself.
