You’ve been hearing about protests for months. Violent protests by mainly young people who are promising destruction, looting, rioting, if they do not see radical change have become nightly news stories. You’ve seen images of cops being beaten, buildings being burned down, businesses being looted, statues being toppled, people being harassed, and so forth.
You’ve heard plenty about all of that, but what you haven’t heard is about the many, many other protests that have been happening since May. These protests aren’t newsworthy because they don’t fit the left-wing media’s anti-Trump, pro-lockdown narrative. They’re also petitioning the government for actionable change.
There were protests to unlock states. Those continue. There are also protests to allow kids to go to school and participate in activities that are important for their mental health. You haven’t heard a word about any of these protests, and they are more common and much bigger than you think they are.
