The Rev. Al Sharpton has made a solid living by fanning the flames of racial discontent. The Baptist minister has been front and center when racial tensions boil over in America.
Out one side of his mouth, he has repeatedly called for calm heads to prevail and Christian tolerance. Out the other side, Sharpton’s words have been racially charged. Consider the racist remarks he made to students at Kean College in 1994.
“Do some cracker come and tell you, ‘Well my mother and father blood go back to the Mayflower,’ you better hold your pocket,” Rev. Sharpton said. “That ain’t nothing to be proud of, that means their forefathers was crooks.”
Among other treacheries, Sharpton was an informant for the FBI against the very African-Americans he claims to represent. He’s also made derogatory remarks against LGBTQ community members and Mormons over the years. But through it all, perhaps no one stopped to think Sharpton was an “illiterate” moron.
In this video, the Rev. Al Sharpton demonstrates the breadth of his education and knowledge about recently deceased music icon Aretha Franklin.
Rev. Sharpton, now an MSNBC show host, rails against Pres. Donald J. Trump’s rough criticism of discredited former aide Omarosa. Unfortunately for Sharpton, he probably cannot spell Omarosa or the word CAT for that matter.
If you are no friend of the Rev. Sharpton, enjoy this comical moment as he fails an Aretha Franklin spelling bee on live TV. It’s all about R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
