Man, some of these Democrats REALLY have no idea what the people want.
Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck (NY) made an attempt to warn about the “dangers” of what President Donald Trump is doing with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE.)
But the problem with Schumer’s little warning, was that it may have actually made people BIGGER fans of DOGE.
Schumer tried to urge caution about what the newly established DOGE would do by saying that if they’re willing to shut down USAID, they might target the IRS next!
In a speech on the Senate Floor, Schumer said, “You can be sure they’ll move on to another target tomorrow. Maybe it’ll be the Postal Service, or the IRS, or even the Social Security Administration.”
Not sure that’s quite the “zinger” Schumer thought it would be considering that most Americans HATE the IRS and were absolutely NOT in favor of when the Democrats decided to hire an additional 80,000 armed agents for the tax enforcement agency so they could take more of our money to spend millions funding studies on transgender cows in Pakistan.
In fact, the IRS might actually be the single most hated federal agency in the U.S. and Americans might literally cheer in the streets if Trump unleashed DOGE on those pocket-watching tyrants.
And the best part is we might actually get that.
President Trump has floated the idea of abolishing the federal income tax altogether, suggesting that instead of taxing American citizens, the federal government could use tariffs to collect a tax on foreign imports in order to sufficiently fund the government.
Chuck Schumer is simply too detached from reality to understand this is precisely what the American people want – but hey, I guess that’s what happens when you spend your entire life pursuing a career in politics…
