Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney is outraising her opponents, but the source of her funding is not Wyoming’s conservatives.
Instead, a new video report shows that Cheney’s funding is largely tracked to Democrat mega-donors set on keeping the RINO in office. After all, she has become a star for the left as she has continued to bash former President Donald Trump during the House’s select committee hearings.
Cheney also joined nine other Republicans to support Trump’s impeachment after Jan. 6, 2001. Democrats know that their party has no shot at winning Wyoming’s at-large House seat. Instead, they’re out to prop up Cheney to keep the anti-Trump and anti-conservative attitude in office as long as possible.
The good news is that the people of Wyoming have largely rejected Cheney. The first major poll came out last week that showed her more than 20% behind her Trump-backed opponent.
Cheney may find herself as the recipient of leftist cash in her reelection bid, but the end result will likely be the same as she is “fired” by voters during the Aug. 16 Wyoming primary.
